Bear Seen Near Wyckoff Lake, Police Warn
BREAKING: The bear was spotted on South Franklin Turnpike, police said.
RAMSEY, NJ — A bear was seen near Wyckoff Lake on South Franklin Turnpike Thursday morning, police said.
The animal was seen near 251 South Franklin Turnpike.
Police urge residents to stay away from bears and to be cautious around wild animals.

The state Department of Environmental Protection warns residents never to feed bears and not to run from them. Those who encounter a bear should speak in an assertive voice, clap their hands and make as much noise as possible.
