A fire in Wyckoff on Monday afternoon did significant damage to a home, according to a Wyckoff Police Department Press Release.
The fire sounded an alert at 2:47 p.m. on Terhune Terrace, the report stated.
The Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire upon arrival, police said.

The fire damaged the front door area of the home, and the rest of the interior of the house sustained smoke and water damage, according to police.
No one was at home when the fire was reported, and there were no injuries, the police report stated.

Several surrounding fire departments assisted in putting the conflagration out, according to the report.
The home was declared uninhabitable, and the family of Morteza and Fariba Shahamat will stay with neighbors and friends, police said.
