Bergen County Man Arrested After Police Seize 117 Bags of Crack Cocaine from his Residence

Police also seized 30 grams of powder cocaine, a handgun, ammunition and more than $2,000 in cash.

A Bergen County man was arrested for allegedly being involved in cocaine sales throughout the county.

Rayshon G. Hoyle, 30, of Bergenfield was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his residence on Nov. 20 and seized approximately 30 grams of powder cocaine, 117 zip lock bags of crack cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia, a .357 Ruger handgun, hollow point ammunition and approximately $2,400.00 in United States currency, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

During the past month, detectives began investigating Hoyle after receiving information that he was involved in cocaine sales in the Northeastern section of Bergen County. Pursuant to the investigation, detectives applied for a search warrant for Hoyle’s residence and were subsequently granted authorization to conduct the search, Molinelli said.

Hoyle was charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, a second degree crime, and one count of possession of a firearm while being in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a second degree crime. Additional charges are anticipated and will be presented to the Bergen County Grand Jury at a later date.

Bail for Hoyle was set at $150,000 with no ten percent cash option. Hoyle was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
