Bosco Football on TV During NFL Break

Bosco’s highly regarded football team may have fallen short in its quest for the state title this season, but it still played some excited games along the way.

With just over a week until Super Bowl, MSG Varsity announced this week it will air some of the best and closest games it’s covered this fall on Sunday.

“Since there will be no NFL games on this Sunday we wanted to bring football fans a little action before gearing up for the brother vs. brother showdown in New Orleans,” the release said.

“One of the games will be . Don Bosco fans can tune into MSG Varsity on Optimum TV channel 14 at noon on Sunday to relive all the action of the game.”

The other games to be featured are:

• 3 p.m.: St. Anthony's vs. Chaminade (both Long Island schools) (St. Anthony's won 17 to 16)
• 9 p.m.: Bergen Catholic vs. St. Joseph Montvale (St. Joe's won 38 to 37)
