Bosco Is #1 In Pre-Season Football Rankings
Annual MSG Varsity of top teams in the tri-state released this week

MSG Varsity’s annual list of the top 25 pre-season football teams in the tri-state area was revealed this week. Not surprisingly, Don Bosco Prep took the top spot. It is followed by rival Bergen Catholic at Number 2.
The rankings were revealed on the MSG Varsity show A Quick: 60, hosted by Mike Quick. According to a release about the weekly, live call-in show dedicated to discussing local high school sports, the list of local football teams was put together by MSG Varsity football analysts and writers.
“The beginning of the school year is always an exciting time and each school year we are tasked to rank the top teams,” Quick said in the release. “It’s a lot of fun but a lot of hard-work is put into narrowing down which teams get to touch the tri-state elite and have that moment in the spotlight.”
