Bear Spotted Near Amanda Court In Ramsey, Police Say

RAMSEY, N.J. — A black bear was seen in the area of Amanda Court Wednesday morning, police said.

The bear reportedly acted normally and did not exhibit any strange behavior, police said.

Authorities urge residents with children and small pets to be cautious. 

Residents should never feed or approach black bears and not run away if they encounter one, the state Department of Environmental Protection urges.
