Celebrate with the Hudson Valley Chorale - A Festival of Favorites

Hudson Valley Chorale Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

The Hudson Valley Chorale is celebrating its 10th anniversary by reprising a selection of favorites from previous concerts, all hand-picked by the members. The program includes the works of classical masters like Brahms as well as modern composers like Gwyneth Walker, dramatically divided into two themes, Sacred and Freedom. Sacred works include How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place from the Brahms “German Requiem”, The Heavens Are Telling from Haydn’s “Creation”, and Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure. Selections in the Freedom category includes Walker’s How Can I Keep from Singing, Homeland by Gustav Holst/R. Stroop, and a medley from the musical, Les Miserables. This eclectic mix is sure to satisfy, no matter your taste. The chorale is under the direction of Michael Haigler, and the piano accompanist is Dewilton Lattimer III.
