Deirdre Dillon, Republican Candidate for Ramsey Borough Council
Councilwoman is seeking reelection to her third term in office

Deirdre Dillion is a Republican candidate for a seat on the Ramsey borough council. Dillon was first elected to a seat on the council in 2006, and is running for her third term. Professionally, Dillon works as Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a registered investment adviser in Upper Saddle River. She holds a B.S. in Accountancy from New Mexico State University and J.D. from New York Law School.
Dillon has lived in Ramsey for 18 years with her husband. The couple has three children.
Before becoming a council member, Dillon was a member of the Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey and coached Ramsey Rec. soccer. She is also a CCD teacher at St. Paul’s RC Church.

On the council, Dillon serves as the Public Safety Commissioner and has been the chairwoman of the Utilities, Buildings & Grounds Committee; Building, Planning & Zoning Committee; and Health, Education & Social Services Committee.
Dillon said she wants to run for election to maintain the quality of life in Ramsey.

“The biggest issue facing the residents and elected officials of Ramsey is maintaining the quality and quantity of services that our residents expect and deserve while keeping the town affordable to all residents,” she said. “As Public Safety Commissioner, I focus on ensuring that the emergency services organizations have the necessary support to accomplish their various missions and assist the public when needed.”
