Five Guys Set For September Opening
Ramsey location will be the only new Five Guys to open in the county for the rest of the year

A new Five Guys Burgers and Fries is set to open this September in the Ramsey Square on Route 17. The projected opening date lies somewhere between the middle and end of September, “hopefully more toward the middle of the month,” Five Guys District Manager for Bergen, Essex and surrounding counties Bob Francavilla, said.
Passersby can see the signage up, and most of the flooring, furniture and décor installed. “We are just putting the finishing touches on it,” Francavilla said. The store is also still hiring staff members.
Though new Five Guy locations have been popping up across the county over the past few years, Francavilla said the Ramsey location is the only one in Bergen set to open for the rest of the year.

“At the beginning of next year, we are hoping to open another location in Bergen County,” possibly in Edgewater, he said.
The chain burger joint so far has 1,000 locations across the country and over 1,500 more in development, according to its website. Though Five Guys is a franchise, its site reports franchise opportunities are currently sold out due to rapid expansion over the past few years.
