Fluoride Ingestion is Based on Junk Science
If you want the truth, the real science behind fluoride may shock you!

In the U.S., water fluoridation has been widespread for the past 70 years. This is occurring despite the fact that there is solid scientific evidence suggesting that consuming fluoride is dangerous to human health and does very little to protect teeth from cavities.
With all of the science to the contrary, why is fluoride being supported and recommended by nearly every public health and academic institution? Fluoride can be found in municipal drinking water, toothpaste, children's vitamins and even in nursery water!
The groups still advocating the widespread use of fluoride include; the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Pediatrics, U.S. Public Health Service and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a prime seat on the fluoride bandwagon. The CDC even went so far as to name water fluoridation as one of the top 10 public health achievements of the 20th century!
Meanwhile, the evidence continues to stack up against this antiquated practice that I believe will be looked upon in 100 years, as we now look upon bloodletting.

Federal data is indicates that more than half of U.S. children may be suffering from consuming too much fluoride.
The Problems With Fluoride:
Most US Children Have Fluoride-Damaged Teeth:
According to research presented at the April 2017 National Oral Health Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 57% of youth between 6 - 19 have dental fluorosis, a condition in which tooth enamel becomes progressively discolored and mottled. This is according to data from 2011 - 2012.
There is no doubt in my find that the figures from 2017 would be much worse, since those statistics represent an increase from 37% as was reported from 1999 to 2004.
The study concluded that; "The data suggests that up to 24 million adolescents now have some form of dental fluorosis, with over 8 million adolescents having moderate fluorosis, and 840,000 having severe fluorosis."
Some studies have even found that children with higher levels of fluorosis have increased rates of cavities.
Fluoride Lowers IQ Too:
Research has found impairment in cognitive abilities among children with fluorosis, even mild fluorosis, as compared to children with no fluorosis.
Just because there is no dental fluorosis doesn't mean that IQ wasn't impacted. Reduced IQ has also been seen in study participants with higher urinary fluoride concentrations, even when no dental fluorosis was present.
Additional adverse effects also include; behavioral alterations, neuro-chemical changes, hypothyroidism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
A National Cancer Institute Researcher Warned Against Fluoride in the 1960s:Chemist Dean Burk, Ph.D., co-founded the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) in 1937 and headed its cytochemistry department for over 30 years. In a taped interview, he equates water fluoridation to "public murder," referring to a study that had been done on the 10 largest U.S. cities with fluoridation compared to the 10 largest without it.
The study clearly demonstrated that deaths from cancer abruptly rose in as little as a year or two after fluoridation began. This and other studies linking fluoride to cancer were sanctioned by the government, but the data was quickly buried once fluoride was found to be linked to such a dramatic increases in cancer.
Since then, a 2012 study found a link between fluoride exposure and osteosarcoma, which is a rare variety of bone cancer. A 2006 study also found a link between fluoride exposure in drinking water during childhood and the incidence of osteosarcoma among men.
The inhalation of airborne fluoride has been found to be a potential cause of bladder cancer and lung cancer among fluoride-exposed workers.
Fluoride Around the World:
The U.S. is in the minority when it comes to water fluoridation. 97% of Western Europe has rejected water fluoridation, while in America, according to 2014 CDC statistics, 211 million people live in areas where water is fluoridated. That is 66.3% of the nation's population.
In New Jersey we are fortunate, since mandatory water fluoridation never was written into law. We rank 49th among the states, with the second to the lowest fluoridation rate at 14.6%. The highest rate of fluoridation is Kentucky at 99.9% and the lowest is Hawaii at 11.7%.
A Leading Fluoride Supporter Changed His Position When Confronted With the Evidence:The late New Zealand dentist John Colquhoun, was a leading fluoridation supporter until he investigated the research in 1980.
His international tour showed no difference between rates of tooth decay in the non-fluoridated versus fluoridated areas he visited, causing him to change his position and become a fluoridation opponent. For the remainder of his life, Colquhoun sought to end fluoridation, a program he had helped create.
The CDC Even Knows This:
It is now known that fluoride's main benefit comes from topical contact with the teeth, not from the ingestion of Fluoride. The CDC's Oral Health Division now acknowledges this.
Protecting Your Oral Health:When it comes to good oral hygiene and preventing cavities, your diet and proper dental care are essential. Brushing, flossing and regular cleanings, combined with plenty of fresh produce, optimizing vitamin D levels, having a healthy balance of gut bacteria, avoiding sugars and avoiding processed foods will all help to maintain good oral health.
