Halloween Costumes Come To Ramsey
Temporary storefront has costumes for everyone from couples to canines
It may not be a permanent replacement, but the Wholesale Halloween Costumes that opened last Friday in the Ramsey Square storefront previously filled by Marshall’s is sure to be a popular spot in the borough this Halloween season.
The temporary store, which will close on or soon after Halloween, contains over 1,000 costumes for babies, kids, teens and adults. The shop also stocks plus size costumes, complimentary costumes for couples, decorations for the home and even spooky outfits for cats and dogs.
According to the shop’s District Manager Tom Keenan, this is the first time Wholesale Halloween Costumes has come to Ramsey.

“We like to look for a lot of various locations that are suitable – wide open, well lit and kid-friendly. This space is perfect.”
Customers can come in to browse costumes in the store, or to use the ordering kiosk, which contains over 20,000 costumes that can be delivered to the store for pick-up.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the possibilities, the staff is there to help. According to Keenan, this year’s “it” costumes include the Avengers, Batman, Spiderman, ninjas, princesses and Captain America.
The Halloween store is owned by Masquerade, a company that operates about 35 temporary Halloween store on the East Coast and a string of about 21 year-round ‘Smart Toys’ stores in malls.
Wholesale Halloween Costumes is now open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., but hours will expand as we get closer to All Hallow’s Eve.
