High-Speed Bergen Car Chase Ends In New York Crash, Report Says
Early morning crash started in Montvale and ended in Nanuet, New York, the report states.

A high-speed chase that began in Montvale early Tuesday morning ended in a crash in Nanuet, N.Y., NJ.com reported.
A Montvale police officer confronted two people in a Mercedes Benz S550 in the Montvale rest area on the Garden State Parkway for suspicious behavior shortly after 2 a.m., the report said.
When the officer asked the driver, Quinn Heyward, 28, of Utica, N.Y. to park the car, Heyward ignored him and drove onto the Garden State Parkway northbound at a high speed, according to the report.

Police Chief Jeremy Abrams said in the report that police broke off the pursuit due to the high rate of speed Heyward was driving; a Montvale police officer found the Mercedes crashed on the Old Nyack Turnpike in Nanuet.
Heyward was charged with eluding, speeding and reckless driving, the report states.
