Man Found Dead in Hudson River, Police Seek ID

Man is between 45 and 50 years old and was wearing black swim shorts when authorities found him, police said.

Authorities are seeking help identifying a man found dead in the Hudson River Sept. 15.

The man possibly jumped off the George Washington Bridge, state police Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Williams said.

No foul play is suspected, Willams said.

The man is 45 to 50 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 151 pounds and has blue/green eyes and a salt-and-pepper shaved head and scruffy beard, New Jersey State Police said in an alert. He is missing upper teeth and has no scars or tattoos.

The man was wearing black Speedo swim shorts, a blue T-shirt, and black Nike sneakers when he was found, police said.
