On Sunday, May 18, at 3:00, please join us at the Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, as Tom Grissom, long time volunteer and Museum Trustee, leads a gallery talk about the history of the neighborhood of Masonicus.
Masonicus, which was once an established farming community, is one of the Mahwah neighborhoods highlighted the exhibit "Neighborhoods of Mahwah: 1913-2013." The Pelz farm, Chad's Barn, the Quakenbush family farm and the Rozanski farm, the fire department and the Old Masonicus Schoolhouse, are all topics in the Masonicus exhibit. The Mahwah Museum is open weekends and wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. Current exhibits are "Neighborhoods of Mahwah" and "Les Paul in Mahwah." The Donald Cooper Model Railroad is open weekends from 1-4 p.m.
