The annual event is happening this Saturday

The Ramsey run, “is one of the main events that Ramsey OEM participates in each year; it is something that the late Mike Adams, past OEM Coordinator, really looked forward to,” current OEM Coordinator Ralph Venturini said in a release about the event.
OEM Deputy Coordinator Glen Karpovich will be running in the 10K race in Adams’ memory. “Mike would really be honored with this,” he said in the release. “He [supported] the run for years.”

The Office of Emergency Management, which coordinates public safety teams and responds to borough emergencies, helps put on the Ramsey Run each year. This year, the OEM will organize emergency communications at the run through its team of amateur radio operators, assist with traffic diversion and be there in the event of any medical emergency.
All OEM workers at the Run will be wearing a special sticker honoring Adams.
