Officials, Victim's Family Plead For New Safety Measures Following Ramsey Train Station Deaths: Report
There have been three fatal accidents involving trains in Ramsey since 2010.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Local officials and the family of someone who was killed at the Main Street train station are pleading with NJ Transit to do enact better safety measures there — or close the station.
Jamie Ryan's nephew Tommy was hit and killed by a train in June. His was the third death in Ramsey.
Ryan told CBS2 was waiting for his train and did not know that another train would be coming in the opposite direction doing 70 mph.

Jamie Ryan said the station should be closed.
Mayor Dierdre Dillion said in the report that trains need to slow down to 10 mph, and that more fencing and lighting need to be added to the station to improve safety.
