Pedals 4 Progress - 1000+ bikes in 8 years

St. John's Episcopal helps in 9 countries

St. John’s used bike & used working sewing machine collection for “Pedals for Progress” (P4P.org) will be Saturday MAY 5th from 9am-12pm. In the past YOU have provided life-changing help to over 1,000 families in 9 different countries by providing them with a bike or sewing machine as a result of our last 8 collections. Without your help this simply would not have happened. EXCITING NEWS! We anticipate receiving our 1,000th bike this year! We aim to collect some sewing machines & bikes ahead of the collection. The team of volunteers at St. John's celebrated this milestone and blessed a bicycle from the 2018 collection at a recent worship service. Please spread the word and help St. John's help others.

We’re collecting adult and kids bikes to send to Nicaragua, Ghana, Albania, Fiji and Guatemala. Do your part to put unused bikes and sewing machines to good use in the developing world. Bikes should be rust free. No children’s trikes, but bikes with flat tires in need of some repair are accepted. Portable sewing machines should be in working condition.

$10 minimum donation with each bike or sewing machine is requested for shipping. All material and monetary donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided on site.
