Police In Bergen County Seek Missing Man

Alfred Fiume, failed to show up for work Tuesday in Middlesex County, but his cell phone was pinged in the area, police said.

Police are asking for the public’s help in their search for a missing “at risk” man, who failed to show up for work Tuesday in Middlesex County.

New Jersey State Police and Rutherford Police Department are looking for Alfred “Fred” Fiume, 53, authorities said.

He was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Sunday and did not report to work on Tuesday in Jamesburg. But, his cell phone was pinged in the area of Gravel Hill Road in Monroe Township at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday.

He may be driving a blue, 2007 Toyota Corolla with NJ license plate C37ATM.

Fiume is white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 260 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit at 609-882-2000 ext. 2554 or Rutherford police at 201-939-6000.
