Police Investigating Connection Between Eight Bomb Threats in Bergen County
Four high schools, three elementary schools and a police station in Bergen County were targets of bomb threats Wednesday.

Police are investigating a possible connection between eight bomb threats made in Bergen County Wednesday afternoon, with at least three made within fifteen minutes of each other.
High schools in Garfield, Englewood and Fort Lee, as well as three Leonia elementary schools and the Garfield police station were evacuated and cleared by the Bergen County Bomb Squad, according to NorthJersey.com. Hackensack High School was still being checked as of late afternoon.
The school threats, which were made by phone, began at 1 p.m., while the Garfield police station received a threat in the morning, according to NorthJersey.com.
