President: Change Was Needed Regarding Greg Toal, Report Says
Father Jim Heuser said in the letter he felt a change of leadership with the national championship-winning football program was needed.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Don Bosco Prep President Jim Heuser said in a letter to the school community that change was needed in the leadership of the school's national championship-winning football program, according to a report by NorthJersey.com.
Heuser wrote that Toal agreed to retire when confronted with Heuser's belief that a change was needed, but later "reversed" his decision, according to the report.
Heuser said that issues in the last few years caused him to evaluate the future leadership of the football program and that school leaders implemented measures and engaged Toal regarding the program's future, the report said, but Heuser was not satisfied that this path "fully served the long-term interests of the school," the report said, quoting the letter.
