Ramsey Announces Class of 2013 Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Dr. Michael J. Thumm, Principal of Ramsey High School, recently announced the names of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2013. They are Nicole Conard, Valedictorian and Alexander Zammitti, Salutatorian.

Both students are President’s Education Award recipients, three time recipients of the Scholastic “R” Award, National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society members, and National Merit Commended Scholars.

Nicole has involved herself fully during her four years at Ramsey High School through participation in various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including:  Interact Club, Leadership Camp, Spanish Club, Student Outreach Service and was a 4-year member of the volleyball team.  Conrad has the distinct honor of obtaining a perfect score on the ACT test.

Alexander has participated in Biology League, Chemistry League, IDEA, Leadership Camp, Math League, Physics League, Quiz Bowl, Spanish Club, Student Outreach Service, Drama Club, and was a member of both the Ram, school newspaper, and the Anti-Violence/Anti Bullying Committee.  Zammitti was the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership ambassador from Ramsey High School in his sophomore year.

Miss Conrad is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Conrad; Mr. Zammitti is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Zammitti, both of Ramsey.
