Ramsey Chorus To Perform At Carnegie Hall Tuesday
The 37-member group might win a $5,000 grant from the Grammy Foundation and perform with classic rock band Foreigner.

RAMSEY, N.J. — The Ramsey High School Chorus will perform a-cappella style at Carnegie Hall Tuesday as part of the opening act of the rock band Foreigner.
Four other schools' choral groups will perform on stage. The winner will receive a $5,000 grant from the Grammy Foundation and the chance to perform with Foreigner on stage.
The 37-member chorus was one of 24 schools to enter the contest sponsored by New York classic rock radio station Q104.3, NorthJersey.com reported.

The group will perform a rendition of "Electric Love." Emma Taylor, president of the 37-member chorus, said in the report that the the opportunity is "so exciting."
