Ramsey Doctor Sentenced In Laboratory Bribe Scheme
He was one of two doctors convicted of accepting bribes in exchange for test referrals.

A Ramsey doctor has been sentenced for accepting bribes in exchange for test referrals in co-operation with Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services LLC (BLS), of Parsippany, New Jersey, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office press release.
Glenn Leslie, 60, will spend two years in prison. An accomplice, Wayne Lajewski, 51, was also convicted and sentenced to 14 months in prison.
Both pleaded guilty to their charges.

Leslie admitted accepting $5000 per month from the Laboratory in exchange for patient blood specimens.
The Laboratory in turn received $380,000 for the samples.

Both doctors are being fined $10,000. For their lucrative roles in the scam, Lajewski must forfeit $48,000 and Leslie must forfeit $350,000.
A total of 37 individuals, including 24 physicians, have pleaded guilty and been prosecuted in relation to the scheme.
