Ramsey EMS Sets Up Medical Unit At Dater School
Residents can charge medical devices or request EMS assistance

The following was submitted to Patch by Ramsey EMS Captain Michael Migliaccio.
Due to the power outage and expected restoration being of an extended duration, Ramsey EMS has established Field Treatment Unit at Dater School, located at 35 School Street in Ramsey, for persons that require electricity to power devices they are medically dependant on.
This is not a shelter. Medically-dependant persons may come to our Field Treatment Unit and self-administer their treatments, or seek EMS care. We do not have the ability to do long term care or provide Advanced Life Support treatment. Medically-dependant persons may come for assistance, or request transport to a local hospital.
