Ramsey Firefighters Graduate From Academy
Dozens of firefighters from several Bergen County municipalities were sworn in at a ceremony Dec. 1.
RAMSEY, NJ — Two residents were sworn in as firefighters Dec. 1.
Christopher Nichol and Sam Mooradian were among the 125 newest graduates of the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute Fire Academy.
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5th) congratulated the graduates.

"Thank you for having our backs. We will always have yours," Gottheimer said. "You all are about to step into big shoes. North Jersey Fire Departments are filled with real life heroes — men and women who fight fires and save lives every day. Firefighters are real heroes."
