RAMSEY, NJ — The Borough of Ramsey have released the full schedule for its America 250 celebrations and events set for next month.
Residents, families, neighbors, and visitors are invited to come together for a multi-day celebration honoring the nation’s history, hometown pride, and the spirit of community, borough officials said.
From a patriotic parade and hometown hero softball game to live music, fireworks, local history, and family-friendly festivities, Ramsey’s America 250 celebration blends tradition with small-town charm across three exciting days.

Whether you are marching in the parade, competing in the pie baking contest, relaxing at the pool, or enjoying fireworks under the summer sky, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Friday, July 3
Community Celebration & Independence Day Festivities:
10:30 a.m. — Patriotic Parade/Costume and banner competition
11:30 a.m. — VFW Barbecue
12 – 2 p.m. — Hometown Hero Softball Game
Other activities include:
- Relay races
- Parade Banner competition
12 –4 p.m. — Bounce House
Evening Independence Day Celebration:
Live music begins at 6 p.m.
Featuring performances by:
- Good Company
- The Counterfeit$
- Ramsey Wind Symphony
9 p.m. — Fireworks Spectacular
Saturday, July 4
Community Heritage & Summer Celebration:
1 –4 p.m. — Old Stone House Open House
7:30 – 10 p.m. — Ramsey Municipal Pool Party
Admission:
- $5 per family member
- Advanced registration is required at this site.
Guests will receive:
- Ice cream sandwiches
- Themed collector’s edition beach badges
