'Ramsey Idol' Nearly Sold Out

If you want to see a bunch of talented Ramsey kids give an American Idol-style concert, you’d better hurry. The eighth annual Ramsey Idol, run by the borough’s DARE program, is Saturday night at Don Bosco.

As of Thursday evening, only 71 tickets were left.

Eleven fifth graders from Dater School and St. Paul’s Interparochial School - Kylie Featherstone, Jordan Hurley, Evelyn Ivry, Emma Larson, Olivia Molinari, Kaitlyn Murad, Julia Nigrelli, Julia Scavone, Ava Sciubba, Jacklyn Stoler, and Kaylie Voigt – will be performing for audience votes. A panel of judges whittled down the pool from 103 students who tried out this year to the finalists, and the crowd Saturday night will choose the ultimate winner.

Past winners of Ramsey Idol have gone on to give some big performances, including shows on Ramsey Day, at Atlantic City Casinos and in Nashville, TN.
