Ramsey Man Charged With DWI In School Zone

Timothy J. O'Keefe, 57, was stopped after police saw him driving erratically.

RAMSEY, N.J. — A Ramsey man was charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone after police stopped him shortly after midnight Dec. 20, said Wyckoff Police Chief David Murphy.

Officer Ryan Tenney was patrolling Wyckoff Avenue when he saw Timothy J. O'Keefe, 57, of Ramsey, driving erratically, Murphy said.

O'Keefe was also charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, disregard of marked lands, driving while his license is suspended, unlicensed driver, and driving with an obstructed view.

O'Keefe is scheduled to appear in court, the chief said.
