Ramsey Musician To Headline Weekend Show
'Progressive funk metal' musician says he will play music from his five studio albums at the show
Ramsey music man Steve Bello will be showing off what he describes as “progressive funk metal” at a show this weekend.
The Steve Bello Band will be the featured performer at ‘Live at Brighton Bar,’ at 121 Brighton Ave. in Long Branch this Saturday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. The show is $8 and open to anyone 18 and older.
Bello, 42, has been a musician for 33 years, is a national endorser for Ibanez Guitars, endorser of Morley pedals, and a regional endorser and sales representative for DR Strings. In his career, Bello has recorded five CDs. The latest, Go Berzerk!, came out in 2011 and features Bello as frontman, songwriter and guitarist of the band bearing his name. The other members of the band are Joe DeMott on base and TC Tolliver on drums.

Music from Go Berzerk!, which will be featured at this weekend’s show, was named a Best of 2011 pick by Hard Rock Radio Live in Las Vegas.
The band is currently working on music for its next album, which it hopes to begin production on this year.
