Ramsey Musicians May Make Acting Debut on SNL
The Lumineers are Saturday night's musical guests

Ramsey residents are getting ready to see two RHS grads perform on Saturday Night Live this Saturday night. But according to a new MTV report, members of the Grammy-nominated folk-rock band The Lumineers, which has its roots in Ramsey, may make their way into some of the sketch comedy show's skits.
"As far as we know we're going to just be performing but some people in the group might find a way to weasel in a skit or two," Lumineers drummer and Ramsey native Jeremia Fraites told MTV.
He also spilled the beans on the band's set list for the night.

"We're going to get to play another song in addition to 'Ho Hey' so you should watch 'Saturday Night Live' if you want to see what song that is," Fraites told MTV. "It's probably going to be 'Stubborn Love.' I'm not good at keeping secrets."
According to the Access Hollywood, Academy Award-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence has been having fun preparing for her first-time hosting gig.

“Oh my God, it’s been amazing,” she told AH. “I don’t think I’ve ever laughed this much in my entire life."
The actress does share something in common with the band. Lawrence, made famous by her role in 'The Hunger Games' movie, is nominated for an Oscar for her role in the 'Silver Linings Playbook.' The Lumineers music is featured in the film.
However, according to MTV, the band members had not met the actress before the two were paired together for SNL.
Saturday Night Live first posted a picture to Twitter promoting the actress’s and band’s Jan. 19 appearance on the show in December. The episode will be the show’s first new one of the year.
Two of the three Lumineers members, lead vocalist Wesley Schultz and drummer Jeremiah Fraites, both grew up in Ramsey and graduated from Ramsey High School. The band has since relocated to Denver.
