Ramsey OEM To Dedicate Headquarters To Late Leader
The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony

The memory of late Ramsey OEM Coordinator Mike Adams, who died in February, will be officially commemorated next week.
The Ramsey Office of Emergency Management sent out a release this month saying that next Saturday, Oct. 13, it would be dedicating Ramsey’s Emergency Operating Center to Adams.
"Mike was the long-time Emergency Management Coordinator till his death earlier this year," the release said. "As a tribute, the members of Ramsey OEM we honor his achievements by naming the EOC after him."

The ceremony marking the renaming of the center, which is located at the back of borough hall, starts at 9 a.m. on Oct. 13. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend, the release said.
According to OEM member Glen Karpovich, Ramsey Mayor Botta, Public Safety chair Councilwoman Deirdre Dillon, and congressman Scott Garrett will all be attending. They are expected to make "brief comments and then the dedication will take place, which will include a sign honoring Mike."
