Ramsey PD Hiring Crossing Guards

The Ramsey Police Department is looking for locals to hire as school crossing guards. The PD is looking for people who:

• Are US citizens
• Are New Jersey residents
• Have never been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude

The job description asks for applicants to be “of good moral character; sound in body” and “of good health.”

According to Police Chief Bryan Gurney, applicants being considered for the job will go through a background check.

Those interested can pick up an application at the Ramsey Police headquarters on N. Central Ave., or ask to see Sgt. Vasili Pieratos at PD headquarters.
