Ramsey Police Increasing Patrols To Train Stations
Officers will patrol both the Route 17 and Main Street stations, police said.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Police are directing officers to patrol both NJ Transit stations police Chief Bryan Gurney said after five explosive devices were found at a train station in Elizabeth overnight.
The incident happened just two days after a pipe bomb exploded in a trash can at a charity 5K run in Seaside Heights, and an explosion that injured 29 people in the Chelsea section of Manhattan.
Anyone should report any suspicious packages, or any suspicious activity, at either station by calling police at 201-327-2400 or 911.
