Ramsey Police Union Donates $2,500 To American Cancer Society For No-Shave November
The nationwide initiative raises money for prostate cancer and research.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Active and retired members of the Ramsey PBA Local 155 will donate about $2,500 to help fund cancer research and prevention as part of the No Shave November initiative.
No Shave November is a nationwide initiative that raises money for prostate cancer and research. The officers hope members of community notice their long hair and unkempt appearance so they can start conversations about cancer prevention. The American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are some of the sponsoring organizations.
Each participant donated $50 to the cause and the PBA matched the total amount donated.
