Ozzy Osbourne fans can tune into the guest DJ's show Thursday

A Ramsey musician is getting a brush with broadcast success Thursday, as he will guest host an Ozzy Osbourne radio show on Sirius XM radio.

Dan Lorenzo’s day job is editing Steppin Out Magazine, a local weekly entertainment magazine. But, he’s been a longtime musician. Lorenzo previously played guitar for Hades, and recently released a solo album on iTunes.

This week, he is putting his rock fandom to good use.

The Ozzy’s Boneyard Show runs on satellite radio is a tribute to hard and heavy classic rock. The show puts a call out to fans who want to be guest DJs, and Lorenzo’s show made the cut.

"I love Ozzy's Boneyard and it's always fun to hand pick and air music you love. I picked some Slayer, Exodus, Pantera and a few other songs by bands I'm friends with", Lorenzo said in a release. "I'm way too busy with Steppin' Out magazine to dedicate any time to new music so this is fun for me."
