Ramsey Students Will Talk About How They Use Social Media At Special Forum

Parents can learn firsthand how to properly use privacy settings to better protect their kids.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Students from Smith Middle School will discuss how they use social media applications at a special digital citizenship parent outreach event Jan. 4.

Students will discuss popular applications like Snapchat, Instagram, and House Party, among others. Parents will have a chance to hear how kids are using these applications and learn how to set privacy settings so they can be used responsibly.

Two sessions will be held, one from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and another from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the media center.
