Street, Center Renamed To Honor Ramsey's Late Emergency Management Coordinator

A permanent reminder of Mike Adams's contribution to Ramsey was unveiled Saturday

The memory of late Ramsey OEM Coordinator Mike Adams, who died in February, now has a permanent place in Ramsey. The borough's Emergency Operating Center, located at the back of borough hall, was officially dedicated to Adams Saturday morning.

Residents, friends, family members and fellow OEM members gathered to honor Adams's life, and commemorate his commitment to his role as Emergency Management Coordinator.

Ramsey Mayor Botta, Public Safety Chair Councilwoman Deirdre Dillon and Congressman Scott Garrett all attended the ceremony, and commented on what the re-dedication of the building means for Ramsey.
