Friday’s extended deadline is in line with an executive order signed by Gov. Chris Christie after Hurricane Sandy extending the tax payment deadline.

According to a release from Christie’s office last Friday, Executive Order 113 extends the grace period for taxes that were originally due Nov. 1 because of communication and transportation disruptions throughout the state caused by Hurricane Sandy.
