Residents Should Expect "Slight Discolor" In Water During System Flushing

Ramsey residents should expect a slight discoloration in their water during a flushing of the borough’s distribution system, according to a borough notice.

The flushing began on April 7 and will continue until April 24.

In addition, residents may experience a slight decrease in water pressure.

Flushing the system is intended to improve water quality.

The borough asks residents to place their garbage and recycling behind the curb during this time to avoid obstructing the process.

Work will largely be done during the night to cause minimal disruption.
