The Role of Light to Treat Alzheimer’s

Infrared light may provide a prevention of and the treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

Alzheimer's disease currently impacts an estimated 5.4 million Americans. Projections suggest that it will affect 1 in 4 Americans in the next 20 years.

More than a half a million Americans die from this disease each year, making it the third leading cause of death in the U.S., right behind heart disease and cancer.

It is amazing to think that 50% of sunlight is actually infrared, 40% visible light and 10% ultraviolet.

Being out in the sunshine doesn't only provide the benefits of ultraviolet light, which produces vitamin D3. The infrared component of sunlight is many times not discussed, but could actually be the portion of sunlight that provides the lion's share of health benefits.

I have been working with infrared therapies for over 13 years now, but until last year, I was dealing with mostly musculoskelatal therapies.

I am becoming convinced that many of the so called "modern diseases", such as; autoimmune, cardiovascular, diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer's, all have a common factor, which is the malfunction of mitochondria, AKA mitochondrial dysfunction.

Infrared light can help the mitochondria in 2 ways:

1. To help accelerate the energy production of the mitochondria.

2. By also opening up calcium channels, which can also improve cell metabolism.

How important are mitochondria? The simple answer is that all living cells on earth depend on properly functioning mitochondria for energy and life. What could be more important than that?

The attached link has an interview with Dr. Lew Lim, who shares his expertise in the use of infrared therapy to treat Alzheimer's disease and how you can use light therapy to radically reduce your risk of Alzheimer's disease. Infrared also has the potential to increase "brain power" in healthy individuals.

I am the co-owner of FIR ( Far InfraRed) Industries. We produce garments and fabrics with a patent pending process, which is a tourmaline nanometer particle infusion process. This process locks the tourmaline particles to fabrics, textiles or fibers, so it doesn't wash out.

Our products are powered by the semiprecious mineral tourmaline, which converts body heat into far infrared energy and then sends that energy back into the body. Tourmaline nanoparticles also provide beneficial negative ions that are also therapeutic and act as a natural antioxidant.

Tourmaline has been used for its therapeutic value for thousands of years, all over the world.

There was a missing factor up until now. We are the first company to figure out how to lock those nanometer tourmaline particles to fabric.

It has been very well established that the smaller the particle size, the greater the infrared generating ability is of tourmaline per gram. This is because this far infrared generation is what is called a "surface phenomenon". Therefore, the greater the surface area, the greater the energy. Nanometer particles are the smallest tourmaline particle that can be generated today. A nanometer is a billionth of a meter!

Our clinical findings indicate that the therapeutic benefit is our products are unsurpassed. We will be conducting experiments in the very near future to confirm that hypothesis.
