Roundup & Cancer

Weeds might not be the only thing that Roundup is killing.

In 2015, The World Health Organization, which is a branch of the United Nations, declared Glyphosate, which is the active ingrdient in Roundup, a "probable carcinogen". That is correct, not a "possible carcinogen", but a "probable carcinogen"!

Glyphosate is the most used herbicide on our planet.

There have been more than 800 people with cancer that are suing Monsanto, the maker of Roundup, over claims the glyphosate-based herbicide caused non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Decades ago, somehow Monsanto was able to persuade the EPA to change the classification of glyphosate from a Class C Carcinogen (suggestive carcinogenic potential) to Class E, which means there is evidence of non-carcinogenicity in humans.

New research has also revealed a strong connection between large-scale Monarch butterfly deaths and glyphosate.

It is my opinion that glyphosate is not only a contributing factor the leaky gut syndrome, but also a contributing factor in mitochondrial dysfunction. The mitochondria are in all cells and burn fuel for energy. When they malfunction, it is called mitochondrial dysfunction. Mitochondrial dysfunction may very well be related to; cancer, heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases and almost every chronic disease or disorder that you can imagine!

Knowing all of this, might make you think twice before buying Roundup for your home. After all, weeding is good exercise, but watch out for the poison ivy!
