Ramsey Day Is This Weekend!

Ramsey Day, an annual outdoor, day-long borough-wide celebration will be held on and around South Railroad Ave. this weekend. Originally scheduled for Saturday, it has been postponed until Sunday.

Residents can look forward to vendors, games, activities and entertainment all day long.

Ramsey Day starts at 11 a.m. with the official kick-off of the celebration, the Ramsey Day Parade, featuring the ’s Big Blue Band.

All-day attractions include food, prizes, arts and crafts, pony rides, kiddie rides, and Fudgie the Clown. Three stages will also be set up on Ramsey streets. The following entertainment acts are planned for the stages:

The high school’s front lawn will serve as a stage for two performances set to close the celebration – a Wind Symphony at 6:30 p.m. and The Little Deuce Coupe Band, a Beach Boys cover band.

The theme of this year’s Ramsey Day is ‘Endless Summer.’
