UPDATE: Package Reported At Route 17 Transit Garage Not Suspicious, Ramsey Police Say

A package found at the NJ Transit Center on Route 17 was inspected by a K-9 unit and does not appear suspicious, Ramsey police said.

Normal service has been restored to the station, police said.

The package was found in the transit center’s garage Friday morning. A perimeter was established and commuters were diverted to the Erie Plaza train station.
