Traffic Advisory: Police Expect Major Game-Related Delays Friday
Back-ups from the Bosco-Paramus Catholic game are expected to begin at around 5 p.m. Friday along Franklin Turnpike

If you can, avoid driving on Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey Friday evening. And, if you are going to the highly-anticipated Don Bosco - Paramus Catholic football game, get there early.
Ramsey Police issued a traffic advisory Thursday warning of the anticipated back-ups along Franklin Turnpike leading up to, and after, the game.
"Kick off is at 7 p.m., but we are expecting traffic delays on the Franklin Turnpike exit from Route 17 north and on Franklin Turnpike near Don Bosco's entrance starting around 5 p.m.," Ramsey Sgt. Richard Falotico told Patch. "Delays are also expected once the game ends around 9:30 p.m.," he said.

Local agencies will be on scene to help coordinate the anticipated influx of spectators. Ramsey Police will be monitoring security at the game, and Ramsey Rescue will be handling traffic and pedestrian issues.
Don Bosco will have a shuttle bus service available from the Liberty Travel parking lot on Spring Street. Police recommend fans arrive early and use that shuttle service.

Handicapped parking will also be available, police said.
