Watch the Mammogram Movie "Happygram" FREE Until Christmas Day
"Happygram" is a documentary movie that reveals the problems of false negative and false positive mammography results.

An annual mammogram has been the conventional go-to “prevention” strategy for breast cancer. But, recent research indicates that mammography may be ineffective, or even harmful. The radiation from every mammogram increases the probability of getting breast cancer due to ionizing radiation. The only level of safe x-ray exposure is zero. It is unfortunate that this is the exact opposite of the purpose of a mammogram. The risks as opposed to the benefits of any medical procedure must be carefully weighed. In some cases, this analysis can lead to difficult decisions.. False negative results can lead to undetected breast cancer. False positive results could lead to unnecessary mastectomies.
49% of women have high breast tissue density and nearly 75% of dense-breasted women are at risk for a cancer being missed, if they rely solely on mammography.
Thermography, MRIs and sonograms may additionally be helpful screening tools for women with high density breasts. Women who have dense breasts are also up to six times more likely to develop breast cancer than women with less dense breasts.

Thermography is currently the only breast cancer imaging screening that has no energy waves entering the body. It works by detecting the infrared radiation that is naturally given off by the body.
Angiogenesis, which is the proliferation of new blood vessels, occurs prior to tumor formation. This proliferation shows up as hotter areas on a thermography study and can be detected prior to a tumor even forming.
Breast Thermography is available locally in Oakland, NJ. The link for additional information is below.
