Stunning Video Shows Ramsey House Getting Struck By Lightning

The house was struck by a bolt of lighting during the violent thunderstorms that blanketed North Jersey. See what happened.

RAMSEY, NJ — A New Jersey house was struck by lighting during the severe thunderstorm that blanketed North Jersey this past week. See what happens when the lightning hits the structure.

A recording of the lighting strike was obtained from a security camera at a nearby home, and then posted by police.

Ramsey Police responded to the house. It was empty and the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department was sent to the house.

The thunderstorm caused severe flooding in Little Falls and Ramsey in North Jersey and in Brick and other locations throughout South Jersey on Sunday.
