WATCH: Ramsey Woman Shares 'Wheel'-Themed Proposal Story On 'Wheel of Fortune'

Nicole Tuminello won $5,000 on the show's Dec. 12 episode.

RAMSEY, N.J. — Borough resident Nicole Tuminello appeared on "Wheel of Fortune" Dec. 12 and shared a fun story about how her boyfriend — now fiancé — proposed to her.

Tuminello won $5,000 on the show. She recalled in a blog post how excited she was after receiving a text message that she was going to be on the show.

"I truly couldn’t believe that a lifelong dream was actually going to become a reality in just 14 days," Tuminello said.

"It was a really fun show. There's a different level of pressure on you when you're on the show," Tuminello said.

Tuminello wanted to win enough money to pay for her wedding and put a down payment on a house. Although she didn't, she had "the experience of a lifetime" on the show. She encouraged others to follow their dreams.

"I think life is about putting into motion the things that you hope to achieve. As far as I know, we only get one shot at this, so if you are reading this and you’ve been thinking about being on the show or even accomplishing something else — go for it," she said in the blog post. "What have you got to lose? And I promise, you will surprise yourself with what you can accomplish."

Tuminello also met Pat Sajak and Vanna White, both of whom she said were "very nice."
