Where to Celebrate St. Paddy's Day in Ramsey
You can pick up everything from a corn beef-topped burger to a green mint-Oreo milkshake in Mahwah and Ramsey this weekend.
St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, and local establishments will be celebrating all weekend. Here’s a list of some of the specials you should look for in and around Ramsey this weekend.
The Shannon Rose
The Irish restaurant and pub is starting the celebration early, with St. Paddyfest beginning Thursday.

Local Irish band The Connolly brothers will be performing from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, and be accompanied by drink specials.

Brady’s at the Station
The Main Street Irish restaurant and pub is starting the party at 11 a.m. Friday, and continuing it all day long on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Locals can look forward to authentic Irish cuisine and exclusive St. Patrick’s Day specials. Get more info on the restaurant’s website.
Smashburger
The burger joint on Route 17 has introduced a special product in honor of the holiday – the Mint Oreo shake. The chain announced this week that the shakes, which will only be sold through June, combines Häagen-Dazs ice cream with mint and Oreo cookies to make a green St. Paddy’s Day treat.
Mason Jar
The Mahwah restaurant and bar is celebrating Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A special St. Pat’s brunch on Sunday will include Irish music, Irish food, and drink specials.
Boom Burger
According to its Facebook page, the Mahwah restaurant is rolling out its once-a-year menu item, the “St. Patty LaFrieda Burger” this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The burger is stuffed with aged Irish cheddar and potatoes, and topped with corn beef. Plus, it comes with Irish sides.
Boom is also offering drink specials all weekend, like Giant Green Boomerangs for $10.
Mahwah Bar & Grill
The restaurant is celebrating this weekend in a big way! It plans to have Irish Fare all weekend long and will have bagpipers throughout the day on Sunday.
Field of Creams Cafe
Stop by the cafe, located at Continental Soldiers Field, for St. Patrick's Day additions to the menu all weekend long. You can try out special recipes, like the green mint pancakes topped with green mint chip ice cream.
