New studies are showing signs of heart disease in obese 8 year olds!

Weight loss programs and weight loss products are at record levels and so is global obesity. Last year, an analysis revealed that more than half of the world’s obese people congregate in 10 countries, being; the United States, China, India, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Egypt, Germany, Pakistan and Indonesia.
Americans comprise about 5% of the world’s population, but a account for about 13% of the world’s obese people. China and India together, with more than 7 times of the US population, only account for 15% of the total. Now, US health officials reported that obesity in America has increased once again.
As obesity rises, so do drug prescriptions for hypertension, diabetes and depression, as well as other obesity-related illnesses. A staggering 59% of American adults now taking at least one drug.

According to recent research presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions in 2015, obese children as young as 8 now display signs of heart disease! The researchers took MRI scans of the hearts of 20 obese children and compared them to 20 normal-weight children.
