Woman Killed By Train In Bergen County Identified
Svetlana Zabolotsky from Wayne was struck at about 8 a.m. Saturday, officials said.

The person who was struck and killed by a NJ Transit train near the Ridgewood train station Saturday has been identified as a Wayne resident, officials confirmed.
Svetlana Zabolotsky, 52, was killed at about 8 a.m. when she was struck by a Waldwick-bound train, NJ Transit spokeswoman Jennifer Nelson said.
Zabolotsky was on the tracks just east of the train station when the crash occurred, Nelson said. No one on the train was hurt.

Service was temporarily suspended in both directions between Ridgewood and Secaucus after the incident.
